Jason International Celebrates 25 Years of Hydrotherapy

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 8, 2007) – Jason International, Inc., a leading manufacturer of hydrotherapy bath products, is marking its 25th anniversary this year.

Founded in 1982 by Remo Jacuzzi, today the company offers the ultimate in quality, reliability and design with products that are built by hand in the United States. Remo Jacuzzi started working for Jacuzzi Brothers while still attending college in the late 1950s and went on to preside as president of Jacuzzi – Brazil. He introduced Whirlpool baths in that country and was the industry leader there. He returned to the United States in 1980 to assume the post of president of Jacuzzi Brothers in Little Rock, Ark. After the sale of the family business, Jacuzzi, with his experience and degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration, decided to start his own company, Jason International, in 1982.

Jason International’s first products were whirlpool spas followed by the introduction of whirlpool baths in 1983. The company grew at a steady pace, with the product line expanding each year, and has since evolved into a world leader in hydrotherapy bathing systems.
