(North Little Rock, AR -- August 29, 2013) "It takes your life completely over. From the time you get up in the morning to the time you go to bed at night, it's what you do. It's what you're concerned with and every activity of the day revolves around that. It's hard to watch your child -- it's more painful than I think people understand," said Whitney Jones of Humnoke, Ark. 

Whitney's daughter, Alayna, 9, was diagnosed with eczema in 2004 when she was six months old. Her condition became agitated. For years, she suffered red, dry skin and a painful itch that would not go away.Her daily regimen included over-the-counter antihistamines and prescription medicines for asthma and anxiety. Her condition became so unsettling that she visited a behavioral therapist weekly to deal with anxiety. Without a community of fellow "eczema families" to lean on for support, the Joneses relied heavily on doctors' advice and encouragement. "We've been through a lot, and she's been really bad for a lot of years."

As Alayna's condition worsened, the Joneses decided to remodel their home in an effort to remove possible allergens. Whitney picked up a Jason International MicroSilk^® bath brochure. As she read the words "eczema" and "psoriasis," she started to cry.

"We had been through so many doctor appointments, so many creams, and so many heartbreaks over something working and then not working. And MicroSilk^® Hydrotherapy seemed like the answer," she explained.

In pursuit of relief for Alayna, Whitney called Falk Plumbing Supply in North Little Rock, and visited the showroom. Sandy Morehead, the showroom manager, suffered a severe case of eczema in her youth and has no hesitations with helping those with skin conditions.
