Whirlpool system fails to operate. |
- No power to whirlpool unit.
- Not wired correctly.
- Air switch — plastic air tube disconnected or broken.

- Reset circuit breakers or replace fuses. Check GFCI and reset if tripped.
- Make sure power supply is wired correctly into the unit.
- Check, reconnect, or replace tubing as necessary.
|
Pump operates, but no air is injected into water. |
- Air valve(s) closed.
- Line is clogged.
|
- Open air control valve(s).
- Refer to installer/dealer.
|
Pump operates, but water is not being pumped. |
- Insufficient water level.
- Suction or discharge blocked.
- Suction air leak. (System usually surges.)
|
- Fill bath to recommended level. Must be at least two (2) inches above the jets.
- Remove obstruction.
- Make sure union is tight on suction side of pump.
|
Pump runs, but jets will not operate |
- Jets are completely or partially closed.
|
- Adjust jets by rotating outer flange.
|
Pump does not manually shut off. |
- Wall timer defective.
- Air switch — tube disconnected or broken.
|
- Replace wall timer.
- Reconnect or replace plastic air tube.
|
Pump unions leak. |
- Unions under tightened, overtightened, cracked or O-ring is not seated properly (possibly pinched).
|
- Back off union nut, check and straighten O-ring, replace as necessary, re-tighten. HAND TIGHTEN ONLY !
|
Pump shuts off by itself. |
- Pump motor overheated and thermal protection device deactivated motor (possibly low voltage).
- GFCI tripped.
|
- Make sure motor air cooling vents are not blocked, clear and allow motor to cool down. (Check service & wire size.)
- Refer to installer/dealer.
|
Pump leaks at shaft. |
- Damaged or defective shaft seal.
|
- Refer to installer/dealer.
|
LED light will not operate. |
- Light bulb is loose in the socket.
|
- Access light bulb and assure it is properly installed.
